What you see on this website currently are about 400 of my photos. That is a small sample of my photography work since 2000. This is a temporary website, as I have 1,000+ photos to share on a future, more comprehensive website that will contain hundreds of Verbatim Testimonial Comments from clients and Art Gallery Visitors, much more detailed information about my work, and some things never before seen online, including original paintings. In the meantime, please see this as a sample of things that will be shown in the future, in higher resolution. UPDATE: Unfortunately starting in 2019 I began to go blind. I became totally blind in one eye and partially blind in my other eye, a condition that lasted from 2019 to 2023. After multiple eye surgeries, my vision was restored in 2023, and I can see again with better vision than prior to 2019.
My Background as an Artist & Photographer
Since 2000, I have been a full-time self-employed professional artist and photographer. For several years I owned my own acclaimed art gallery (brick and mortar) which showed my artwork in various media (paintings and photography). I have photographed artists, ballet, rodeo, fox hunting, horse sports, world-champion equestrians, mustang trainers, cowboys & cowgirls, horses, musicians, poets, writers, models, actors, long-distance offshore adventure sailors, adults, children, teens, athletes, high fashion, travel photography, aerial photography, studio fine art photography, and more. My paintings (watercolors, canvas) are not shown on this website, but will be shown on my future site. Higher resolution photos and more paintings will be shown in my future site.
My Focus as a Photographer
My favorite subject is people. I find people fascinating and when I create a portrait of someone it is meant to reflect something about them, to show something of their personality or a unique characteristic about them. I also enjoy photographing many other subjects too, but people are special to me, and I spend time with most of my clients/subjects to get to know them prior to photographing them. I have hundreds of Verbatim Testimonial Comments that I will share on my future site with FAQ answers to 100 common questions I get. I am available for travel to you, and have photographed clients in the Far East to American West to Newfoundland, etc. I work at your location, so you do not have to travel to me. Almost all of my work is done using natural light, and natural expressions.
